Rates of payment for casual group facilitation
The Institute of Group Leaders Board and Training and Standards Committee endorse that casual group leaders/facilitators who meet endorsed organisational standards receive:- Payment for the facilitation time that includes 1 hour preparation for each 1 hour of facilitation. i.e. When a 2-hour group is facilitated the group leader is paid for 4 hours.
- Preparation includes preparing for the group, packing-up, debriefing and supervision (see Uses of groups, application and supervision requirements webpage table for supervision frequency)
- Casual group leaders/facilitators are paid a minimum of $40.00 AUS per hour.
