Membership fees:

There are four levels of membership.
FULL - $75 per year
ASSOCIATE - $60 per year
AFFILIATE AND STUDENT - $45 per year
JOINING FEE - $10 (one off fee)

Associate

Where an applicant can demonstrate an active interest in group work acceptable to the Institute in type and range.

Full

Where an applicant meets all the following requirements:

  • Can provide evidence of group work training acceptable to the Institute in type and range.
  • Has been responsible for the supervised leadership of groups with a total of at least eighty hours within the past three years, each group being generally for a minimum of sixteen hours and including at least one on-going group.
  • Receive regular supervision for the group work facilitation.

Affiliate

Where a member has no current experience in running groups but wishes to maintain a commitment to IGL.

Honorary Life Member

The IGL Board may invite any person to accept Honorary Life Membership because of the quality and duration of his service.
